Review: Gilead by Marilynne Robinson

Even though Robinson's worldview and her characters' theologies are at times questionable, the truth that resonates through this book and into the reader is love.

Just love.

And that's good enough.

Touching, difficult, provocative. What Saturday lacked, this had. This had real soul. Gilead is a sweet song about faith and understanding.
